Ignite are pleased to announce the appointment of new apprentice Izobel Fuller, who has enrolled onto a Level 3 Content Producer apprenticeship.

The Level Three apprenticeship blends on-the-job professional training with one-to-one tuition and mentoring.

Course content includes training on social media scheduling and management, copy writing, video production, photography and media relations. The apprenticeship provides employers with a cost-effective way to create regular content to help increase fan engagement and communication.

As a registered training provider, the apprenticeship is delivered in house in partnership with Oxford-based PR and digital communications agency Fortitude Communications. Izobel will work closely with the team at Fortitude which includes Managing Director Greig Box-Turnbull, a former Daily Mirror journalist, and experienced sportswriter Shaun Reynolds.

Justin Merritt, CEO of Ignite Training, said: “Izobel has demonstrated a real passion for quality content creation and we’re pleased to welcome her to the team at Ignite.

“She will work closely with our marketing team across our onsite programmes at our Oxford  head office site, including Velocity Football and Ignite Sport activities in addition to Ignite Training content where she’ll support the showcasing of fellow apprentices across England and Wales.

“Our Content Producer apprenticeship is an exciting standard within our portfolio of courses and helps learners to produce professional, engaging content which is a vital part of any organisation’s online presence.

“The programme is very detailed, cutting edge, and is being delivered by a team of experienced communications experts through our partnership with Fortitude Communications.

“This apprenticeship will bring great benefits both to the club and will stand Izobel in good stead for her professional development and career aspirations.”

Fortitude Communication Managing Director Greig Box-Turnbull said: “We are proud to be supporting our colleagues at Ignite Training in the delivery of this fantastic programme.

“Content is king and recognising this has become an integral part of how organisations operate in the modern, digital, era.

“This apprenticeship is aimed at both new recruits and existing staff and is an incredibly cost-effective option for developing staff and generating engaging content.”
